ROYAL PALACE AT CASERTA

It’s a UNESCO World Heritage site located at Caserta, a city at    km from Naples.

Commissioned by Charles the Third of Bourbon in 1734 to the architect Luigi Vanvitelli, it was planned to compete with the most important royal residences of the time, especially Versailles. The sumptuous palace has 134 windows, 1200 rooms and 34 staircases
